Musicians West, Inc. is a non-profit corporation founded in 1990 to encourage the art of professional musical performance in Idaho by providing concerts, lectures, master classes, seminars, festivals, competitions and composer commissions. Musicians West also provides a limited number of scholarships to Idaho students, and makes contributions to other non-profit arts organizations. Many of the projects sponsored by Musicians West involve and benefit youth.

The Internal Revenue Service has recognized Musicians West, Inc. since 1993 as a non-profit, tax-exempt organization as described in Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. A copy of the recognition letter from the IRS is available upon request.
